The Old Rectory Hotel Wem

We want our guests to experience the hotel in exactly the way they choose - if you want to stay and relax within our grounds, that's fine by us, but for guests wanting to explore Shropshire's special qualities and numerous attractions, the hotel provides the perfect base from which to explore. We'll just be waiting for you with one of our award-winning meals when you return.

For get-away from it all weekends, informal lunches, dinners, weddings, special occasions or business meetings and conferences, we look forward to seeing you. Or if simply sinking into one of our squashy sofas for a coffee and a home-baked scone takes your fancy, we're here for you too.

We really think we've got things right – that's why once people have found us, we can't keep them away.

Our Opening Times

Morning coffee:                          10.00am – 12 noon daily
Lunches:                                      12 noon – 2.00pm Tuesday – Saturday
Dinner:                                          7.00pm – 9.30pm Tuesday – Saturday evening
Traditional Sunday Lunch:       12 noon – 2.00pm
Afternoon tea:                             2.00pm – 4.30pm available daily

Please note that the restaurant closed on Sunday evening, Monday lunch and evening.
